This is a perfect example where a little more effort put into de-clicking and reducing groove distortions would result in a better outcome. The above example is only using automated de-clicking and dynamics processing of loud distorted passages and would be improved greatly by more manual methods. If you have the time, try processing the original recording and see for yourself.

In this example, if you listen carefully you can hear the automated de-clicking has caused some transient drop-outs of the signal. Again, less aggressive auto-declicking and more manual efforts would result in a better outcome for this particular recording.
